It’s with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the achievement of this prestigious award in recognition of our passion for quality and innovation and for our strong identity and spiritual connection to our land.
Established in 1954 by a Gio Ponti’s idea, ADI Compasso d’Oro Award is the oldest and most influential international design award. Our project was born from a study in food engineering design with the precious contribution of the Food Designer Paolo Barichella and it was the only Italian project to win in the food sector among the world’s most successful firms (Ferrari has won the award in the category Design for mobility).
The “Espresso al Quadrato” system made by an eco-friendly pod in food paper filter 100% recyclable is the result of our ethical and sustainable approach to respect the product, the consumer and the environment.
Our innovative and sustainable project began with this assumption “we always believed that innovation must be firmly rooted in tradition”. We have always combined our know-how with an on-going research and development process with the goal to pursue excellence and spread the culture of an artisanal slow-coffee. “Espresso al Quadrato is the expression of our company’s philosophy, we have never accept compromises on quality in the full respect of our product, consumer and environment” as declared by Arturo Morettino, Research and Development Director.
