Sicily’s authenticity, made of culture, aromas and flavors, featured at Host 2019, the main international expo dedicated to the world of coffee, catering and hospitality, scheduled from October 18th to the 22nd in Milan.
Morettino will bring to Milan the story of its land with a multi-sensory experience that includes the different aspects of the Island, starting from coffee, which symbolizes the meeting between different identities.
We will be at Host with the “Morettino Coffee Lab”, the project that combines that ancient knowledge of tradition with the flavors of innovation, revolutionizing the traditional way of drinking coffee, through a conscious and experience-based approach.
In fact, the Morettino Coffee Lab tells the story of the new frontiers of the world of coffee: from Espresso to the most widespread “Slow” brewing methods such as Pour Over, Chemex or Cold Drip, passing to Moka, reaching the new trends of Coffee Mixology and to the sensory pairings between food and coffee, always focusing on the raw material, as a blend or as single origin pure mountain Arabicas, slow-roasted and in an eco-friendly manner.
At the Morettino Coffee Lab, at Host (Pad. 14/ Stand E42-F41), it will be possible to dive into the authentic coffee culture and live many unique Sicilian experiences, also thanks to the collaboration with some of the best agri-food businesses of the Island that share the same values tied to the search for quality and the respect for the raw material, such as Amara, Sabadì, Frantoi Cutrera, Molini del Ponte and Tasca d’Almerita with unique tastings! Key partners in our journey are Bioesserì and Ammu, who have always been ambassadors of quality products from the Island in Milan.
The sensory analysis will have a central role during the entire event: each day there will be many activities in the Morettino Sensory Room, among which guided tastings and pairings between Specialty Coffees and different types of Chocolate from Modica by Sabadì, as well as an exclusive tasting of the Arab Coffee prepared with the original Dallah and flavored with cardamom and spices, dedicated to our traditions.
